Installation Information
Fitting Instruction 1 Remove the road wheel and hub. Slacken and remove the track rod end retaining nut. Cut off the old boot, don't pull over the track rod end. 2 Pull the swivel pin towards you and place cone cover over the pin. 3 Lubricator the fitting cone and the inside of the new boot with cone spray. 4 Pull larger opening of boot over the cone first and then ease the small opening over the cone and into position. 5 Remove the cone and top up the steering rack with correct lubricant (EP90 or similar>) via the small opening. 6 Secure one end of the boot with the fixing clip. 7 Secure the other end with the remaining fixing clip. 8 Refit the track rod end onto the control arm and tight en nut to the correct torque. Replace the road wheel.
