How to choose the correct part?
Many mistakes are made when purchasing window regulators. Before you choose, there are some fundamental checks that need to be completed to ensure that you find the correct part.
- What is the body type - saloon, estate, convertible, coupe, LCV?
- How many doors are on the vehicle and what is the door side (LH/RH)?
- Is the window regulator complete with comfort function?
A simple test for comfort function is to see whether or not the window regulator is activated by one touch of the switch (using the opposite working window regulator). A window regulator without this function will require the user to maintain pressure on the switch to raise or lower the window.
